This piece is an original textile still life built around a lush bouquet where deep, dramatic shades meet soft lilac and dusty pink. Sculptural flowers rise from a patterned lavender vase, surrounded by layered leaves, petals, and ornamental forms in plum, burgundy, black, cream, muted blue, copper, and warm orange. Against the richly patterned dark background, the bouquet feels both romantic and mysterious, while the contrast between delicate floral details and bold textile patterns gives the composition a distinctly contemporary character. The abundance of fabrics and decorative motifs turns a traditional flower still life into a vibrant world of color, rhythm, and texture.
Technique: Art quilt (textile collage). Fabric fragments are sewn by hand and with a sewing machine.
