'Colors of a Summer Morning' is an original textile still life inspired by the freshness, color, and gentle abundance of a bright summer morning. A lush bouquet unfolds from a deep blue patterned vase, combining expressive flowers in vivid turquoise, cobalt blue, sunny yellow, coral, soft pink, cream, and fresh green. The dramatic blue blossoms become the heart of the composition, while smaller flowers, patterned leaves, and unexpected textile details create a lively rhythm around them. Set against a warm neutral background and a richly layered dark table surface, the bouquet feels joyful and spontaneous — like freshly gathered summer flowers illuminated by the first warm light of the day.
Technique: Art quilt (textile collage). Fabric fragments are sewn by hand and with a sewing machine.
