This is an original textile still life filled with the rich, mysterious colors of flowers at dusk. A generous bouquet unfolds from a dark patterned vase, bringing together expressive shades of violet, lavender, dusty pink, burgundy, deep blue, wine red, and touches of cream and muted green. Long, delicate petals and leaves seem to move across the composition, while the deep plum background creates a dramatic contrast and gives the flowers an almost luminous presence. Intricate patterns hidden within the petals, leaves, and vase invite a closer look, creating the feeling of an evening bouquet caught somewhere between reality and imagination.
Technique: Art quilt (textile collage). Fabric fragments are sewn by hand and with a sewing machine.
