This is an original textile artwork depicting a whimsical winter town where colorful houses seem to gather closely together beneath snowy roofs and a soft blush-pink sky. Muted olive, mustard, sage, coral, lavender, cream, and gray facades are enlivened by tiny patterned windows, unusual roof details, and delicate white ornamental lines reminiscent of lace. The combination of geometric architecture and playful textile patterns gives the scene the feeling of an imaginary European town — cozy, slightly nostalgic, and full of small details waiting to be discovered.
Technique: Art quilt (textile collage). Fabric fragments are sewn by hand and with a sewing machine.
