This is an original textile landscape capturing the peaceful intimacy of a small village wrapped in winter snow. Cozy houses with softly curved snow-covered roofs nestle beneath dark blue mountains, while a tall bare tree rises through the center of the composition, giving the scene a beautiful sense of depth and stillness. Layers of white, ivory, navy, gray, soft blue, brown, and subtle blush tones create a sophisticated winter palette. Technique: Art quilt (textile collage). Fabric fragments are sewn by hand and with a sewing machine.
