Dragonfly - Botanical Nature Decor, 49.5x47 cm
49.5 × 47 cm (19.5 × 18.5 in)
This one is an original textile artwork capturing a fleeting, almost magical encounter between a delicate dragonfly and a blooming summer garden. With its wide patterned wings in shades of pink, raspberry, lavender, turquoise, and deep blue, the dragonfly seems to hover above a richly layered world of flowers and leaves. Soft aqua, ivory, pale yellow, and white create an airy luminous background, while vivid pink blossoms wind through the composition, bringing movement and life to the scene. The combination of botanical motifs, intricate patterns, and the graceful insect gives the artwork a light, poetic atmosphere — like a quiet summer moment preserved in fabric.
Technique: Art quilt (textile collage). Fabric fragments are sewn by hand and with a sewing machine.
