This original textile artwork is transforming an ordinary insect into an exuberant imaginary creature covered in flowers, patterns, and unexpected colors. The large beetle emerges dramatically against a deep navy background, its body assembled from shades of pink, coral, turquoise, violet, black, and delicate floral fabrics. Long colorful legs and antennae add movement to the composition, while the contrast between the intricate beetle and the dark quilted background gives it an almost jewel-like presence.
